Maintenance Operations Clerk
Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Clerk/SAP Administrator at our Dodge City Kansas location. This position is accountable to ensure the Work Management process is followed appropriately and responsible for gap identification. The role of the Maintenance Clerk is to be the subject matter expert on the Maintenance and Asset Accounting system, and to assist the maintenance department in capturing all the data generated as part of the ongoing maintenance effort. The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintenance data collection and entry and also aligning inventory management and portions of the procurement process to the assets within SAP. Data input to SAP will be required as well. Principle Accountabilities: 10% Perform work management workflow Screening function (batch screen 3x/Day). Screen 100% of priority 3, 4 and 5 work requests and work orders from all work streams. Work streams would include but not limited to proactive activities, production work requests, maintenance work order tracking requests, 5-Y Cause Analysis recommendations, Cause Mapping Cause Analysis recommendations, Kaizen recommendations and Operator Care work requests. Screen work orders and requests for meeting all minimal requirements. Send work orders back to originator and provide feedback to originators. Monitor for common defect denominators for facility training opportunities. ? Ensure all work order minimum requirements are being met ? Monitoring job plans created for content and estimates audited ? Looking at new PM's created for correct work type and correct job sequencing. ? Comments audited 10% Monitor Integrity and Compliance of Work Management Work Flow. 10% Provide Maximo and work flow training for as necessary (SAP) (Ad Hoc reports).all those to new roles within work management work flow and refresh training as necessary. Provide training to enable SAP users to produce and extract adhoc and standard reporting 10% Maintain data integrity and accuracy within SAP of equipment and location hierarchies and masters, functional locations, equipment masters, equipment functional locations and bill of materials ? Hierarchy ? BOMs ? Asset Additions / Deletions ? All minimum data requirements met w/in SAP ? Format and accuracy of all data ? Making sure the labor records are kept current 10% Interface between procurement, planners for material duplications in SAP I.E. same materials having different identifiers. 10% Interface with plant IT for SAP network issues 10% Ensure all adequately completed work orders are placed into closed status ? All Maintenance Work Orders ? All Non-Maintenance Production Work Orders ? Work with capital department to get capital work orders COMP / CLOSED 10% Ensure all modifications and changes “not in kind” are placed into status of Waiting MOC. Provide feedback to work order originator the requirement of MOC. 10% Monitor that all work streams go through work order management system. 10% Other duties as assigned by manager. Skills:
o High School Diploma o Intermediate level of computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Word o Must be able to read and write English fluently. o Minimum of 2 years of Reliability Process Work Management utilization o Experience in Cause Analysis o Experience in specific work management processes, such as, planning, scheduling, coordination, MOC, etc… o Experience in Database Analytics
o Previous experience working with a Maintenance Department o Previous SAP Experience o Experience working with SMRP and/or CMRP o Experience with Microsoft Access o Public speaking skills with small and large groups o Kronos usage experience o Comfortable and effective leading/facilitating individual and group training sessions.
