Maintenance Parts Coordinator
Material CoordinatorDepartment: Maintenance Reports to : Maintenance ManagerResponsibilities: Provide accountability to assure Parts-room is secure at all times and kept in standard of compliance. Provide assistance to Team members requesting and/or returning parts needed for repairs.Build kits for scheduled PM?s and assign to techs by work orders.Enter all transactions into the CMMS for assigned shifts. (i.e. Assigning parts bins building parts lists, building BOMs for equipment, updating equipment upgrades, generate check book reports.Contact vendors by phone or fax to obtain pricing availability, of parts and places orders as neededCompare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received. Process items in need of repair to appropriate vendors and / or exchange.Receive and store parts properly in assigned bin locations Receive purchase orders in system, generate receiving reports and appropriate paperwork to accounts payable Generate order parts request list.Perform periodical inventory of parts room. Close out completed work orders that have been submitted by maintenance team membersGenerate work orders as neededPerform assigned audits.Perform housekeeping duties Attend periodical meetings Job QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED is required
Minimum 1 year experience in and /or training in related fieldComputer Skills needed: Microsoft Office and previous CMMS experience preferredWorking knowledge of inventory controlStrong interpersonal skill and customer service skillsAbility to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and or procedure manualsGood communication skills both written and verbalAbility and willingness to work nights and weekends To view a full job description and submit your resume for consideration, click APPLY TO THIS POSITION below and follow the prompts.
