The jobholder for this position has responsibility for all Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) activities within the Plant.? They lead and supervise all internal personnel and external 3rd party contractors in the execution of M&R Centered Best Practices and Asset Improvement Strategies.? They manage budget and scheduling activities.? Employ knowledge and leadership experience in effort to reduce costs and improve asset availability through application of best practices, root cause, Behavior Based Safety, and Direct Report / Employee Skills enhancement.?Principal Accountabilities?20%?Leads effort to identify, prioritize, and implement proactive asset management strategies.?25%?Provides leadership and supervision to multi-functional M&R Personnel (i.e. internal Cargill employees and 3rd party contractors) on a day-to-day basis and to implement long-term maintenance plans.?15%?Improves Plant Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by implementing M&R Foundational Elements as defined by Cargill M&R Center of Excellence.? Monitors and controls the Maintenance Budget at the site.?15%?Uses M&R Best Practices to improve staff skills as well as adherence to Behavior Based Safety Principles.?15%?Employs CMMS to ensure compliance with internal, Local, State and Federal regulations regarding safety, health and environmental policies and regulations.?10%?Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned (i.e. spare parts inventory/storage).? Provides support to the planning and implementation of capital projects.?Skills:
Required QualificationsBachelor?s Degree in Engineering?Or high school diploma/GED with 7 or more years of maintenance and reliability experience.5 or more years Maintenance Engineering/Supervisory experience in an Industrial Process EnvironmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor?s degree or higher in the following fields: Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering?Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (or other organization) Certification.10 or more years of Maintenance Engineering/Supervisory experience in an Industrial Process Environment5 or more years of experience in a Proactive Reliability Centered Maintenance environment.Success FactorsExperience in Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Computer Maintenance Mgmt Programs and Systems (CMMS).Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.Basic knowledge of EPA, OSHA and Cargill Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.Knowledge of Asset Condition Monitoring technologies and their application.?Knowledge of maintenance Work Flow Process?s from Request to Quality Check Follow-Up.Strong communication and supervisory capabilities.
