Learn more at www.adm.com.Maintenance Supervisor- Cedar Rapids, IAADM Corn ProcessingThis is an full-time, exempt level position.Job SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor position will assist the Dry Grind Maintenance Superintendent with daily management of all plant maintenance activities.
The Maintenance Supervisor position will have a strong emphasis in the safe and effective job execution, planning and job implementation. All maintenance department employees will assist in the development and implementation of plant safety programs and policies. Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out and supervise department and company safety policies and procedures at all times.Supervise maintenance technicians and multiple contractor trades effective daily work and job planning.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Be able to work in and promote a positive team working environment.Assist with maintenance technician testing and qualification.Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System and issuance of work orders.Be able to read and understanding mechanical and piping prints.Strong mechanical aptitude.Have basic understanding of electrical to assist in equipment troubleshooting and lockout.Maintain facilities in clean, organized and efficient operating manner.Possess project management skills.
Participate in plant projects when needed.Assist process operators when necessary.Basic computer skills.Assist Dry Grind Maintenance Superintendent with control of parts inventory.Be able to work at heights greater than 150? and in harsh outdoor environments.
Be able to lift and carry items that are 50 lbs.Must be able to climb and balance oneself on a ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl into tight places as required. Minimum RequirementsTechnical degree in mechanically related field preferred.
Maintenance operation?s experience in industrial and/or continuous process flow maintenance required. Requires expertise in mechanical, piping, welding and hydraulics. Minimum 5 years experience preferred.
