Maintenance Supervisor, 3rd Shift
Position: Maintenance Supervisor, 3rd Shift Reports To: Maintenance Manager SUMMARY The Maintenance Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance employees in maintaining and repairing equipment, with a focus on quality workmanship, trouble shooting and safety. Ensures the production department receives the prompt, efficient, and quality service required to operate at maximum efficiency by reducing the possibility of down time through the implementation of Pre-Maintenance procedures.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise employees in installation and repair of mechanical equipment, as well as maintaining equipment and servicingthe plantUtilize working knowledge of electrical systems, both controls and industrial wiring systems, pipe fitting, plumbing, welding and shop machineryPrepare work schedules and make work assignments for subordinatesInterpret company policy to members and enforce company policy and practicesTrain mechanics on procedures and policies as neededIdentify areas of opportunity for maintenance processes, and develop solutions to problems as they arise SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE General knowledge of machinery associated with the industryMinimum of High School diploma, GED or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenanceApply for this job.
