We currently have a Maintenance Supervisor position available at our facility in Grand Forks, ND.
SUMMARYDirect and coordinate maintenance teams to ensure maximum operating efficiency in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. It is the responsibility of this on-shift position to ensure repairs and planned/scheduled maintenance on plant equipment is executed to minimize downtime. This position is also responsible for the support, education and training, and roll out of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, weekly scheduled work, and open work. RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for supporting, managing or implementing food safety and product quality standards.Ensure that on shift planned and unplanned work is completed and all required paperwork and data entry is completed.Support plant sustainability goals for safety & the environment.Support Area Maintenance Supervisor goals.Responsible for identifying the training needs of team, ensuring their participation in appropriate training activities, and reinforcing subordinate's skill development with coaching, feedback, and recognition.Manage all immediate maintenance activities of the facility on shift – mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and boiler/refrigeration.Ensures that the Plant policies, procedures and union contracts are administered and followed in a fair and consistent manner.Provide technical services to ensure conformance with applicable codes and standards of safety, quality, sanitation and environmental protection. Must understand the codes and standards.Coordinate with Production Shift Management to achieve overall equipment effectiveness goals (minimize downtime, maximize quality, maximize production).Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures to reduce downtime. REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university 3 plus years related experience and/or training.
Planning and scheduling of maintenance projects a plus.
Knowledge of C&I, PLC, electrical. Experience in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
