Maintenance Supervisor Oils
Summary:Execute the facility operations strategy for the maintenance group. The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager, supervises all hourly maintenance team members of various disciplines. This position is responsible for the provision of services required to maintain the plant’s machinery, production equipment and facilities to ensure ongoing, cost effective and safe operations, and to maximize process efficiencies to minimize production downtime.Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Essential Functions:• Provide ongoing emphasis and training to ensure compliance with BNA safety and environmental policies by maintenance and utility staff as well as contractors by ensuring work is performed safely and that hazards are anticipated and managed properly. • Review work orders and other work demands to determine ongoing priorities. • Provide coaching instruction and guidance to confer with Production, Packaging, Warehouse and Quality Assurance groups to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and • Provide technical input for capital projects and process improvements. • Assist and guide the development of the Maintenance staff.• Provide technical support to the maintenance team during electrical and mechanical troubleshooting challenges.• Work with the Maintenance Planner and Reliability Manager to help establish and maintain an effective PM program to increase line efficiencies. • Schedule employees to ensure proper staffing. • Become proficient in SAP to generate work orders and support the maintenance teams PM efforts• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management• Post-secondary education in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in an industrial maintenance setting• Three plus years of work experience • Must have an understanding of PLC systems and be capable of troubleshooting electrical motor controls• Proven and demonstrated leadership and management skills within a team-oriented environment • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanical process equipment, process automation systems, boilers, electrical distribution systems, plumbing and instrumentation, and ammonia refrigeration • Working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes • A firm understanding and experience with an effective Preventative Maintenance program• Must be shift flexible to support business needs• Superior verbal, written, and listening skillsApply for this job.
