Job SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor/Planner is a member of the BioProducts Maintenance Team reporting to the Reliability Engineer responsible for the Planning/Scheduling Division. The colleague in this position will utilize the tools of Maximo, ADM?s Computerized Maintenance Management System, to review, plan and schedule maintenance activities designed to protect the function of plant equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor/Planner is expected to develop detailed job plans to include safety requirements, task sequences, required craft skills and crew size, necessary materials and special tools, as well as equipment access requirements. The colleague in this position is the liaison between Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, the contractors and others to plan and schedule maintenance activities for the Plant.
Essential Job Functions Adhere to all plant safety and operating guidelinesInteract with Maximo to manage all aspects of the Maintenance Supervisor/Planner functionInteract with Plant colleagues to develop planned, preventative and/or predictive maintenance activities to support equipment reliability effortsScreen job requests for completeness, accuracy and needDevelop detailed job plans to include safety requirements, task sequences, required craft skills and crew size, necessary materials and special tools, as well as equipment access requirements Perform regular analysis of work backlog relative to available resourcesCoordinate job scheduling through structured meetings with the Production Departments and publish prioritized weekly job schedulesProcure and stage the tools and/or materials required to successfully complete planned jobsSupport Storeroom growth by identifying spare parts, tying them back to their assets and submitting ?Stock Authorization? forms as required to add parts to inventoryUnderstands their role in food safety and quality systems, actively participates in food safety efforts and ensures all activities conform to good manufacturing practicesMust exhibit high levels of professionalism and integrity
