Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. Candidate must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Candidate must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Other tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching. Candidate must be willing to lift, push, carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area; ranging from 20 – 70 pounds). Candidate must be able to work in cold and/or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
