Management Information & Decision Support Senior Analyst – CAN
The Management Information & Decision Support (MIDS) Senior Analyst will be part of the Management Information and Decision Support (MIDS) domain. The role will support the Cargill Feed & Nutrition (CFN) North America Accelerated Business Improvement and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. This role will have accountability to bring historical financial information and insights to support the Accelerated Continuous Improvement (ACI) project and the IBP processes across the business units in CFN North America. This role will partner closely with the accounting and reporting teams, ACI Lead, and business stakeholders as appropriate.Principal Accountabilities:100%: Decision Support and Business PartnershipPartner with business accelerator and continuous improvement teams to drive process improvements via metrics, analytics, and data, including:Set up the framework and align with finance leads to integrate end-to-end financial processes into the new operating model.Establish process, rules, and cadence to ensure projects are tracked through their lifecycle and can be reconciled in our P&L.Coordinate and align the finance resources towards the new operating model.Own the overall reconciliation process by working with the various product line finance resources as necessary.Lead the monthly P&L reconciliation/steering committee?meetings with our Enterprise Lead.Integrate this process into our finance group and business to make it sustainable long-term.Drives business requirements to Management Information (MI), IT, and other partners as necessary to drive improvements and aid in prioritization and impact of work requests.Identifies and implements opportunities to improve the data integrity, standardization, and overall usefulness of financial information.#LI-KH1Skills:
Required Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree3+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, data, analytics or related fieldProven ability to effectively communicate with and manage the expectations of senior management stakeholders to drive organizational and process changesStrong analytical skills; capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross process upstream downstream impactsProven ability to influence, facilitate, and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience and functional spectrumsAbility to prepare and deliver logical summaries and conclusions related to organizational metrics, analytics, and processesAbility to take initiative and be results drivenExcellent problem solving skillsEffective communication ?Strong interpersonal skills, with team-oriented approachProven time management skills Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree in financial and/or analytics related field preferredMaster?s degree5+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, data, analytics or related fieldExperience in driving change through business process optimization team, integrated business planning team, and/or business transformation (RTS) effort a plusExperience in the SAP ERP systemSix Sigma experiencePrevious experience in animal feed or agricultural industryExperience with visualization tools, such as Power BI or TableauOther relevant information to the position:Ability to travel up to 10%?
