The preferred location for these role is Parsippany, NJ. The expectation is for this manager to be responsible for executing our sales enablement & leadership strategies to ensure that our Sales Managers are fully equipped with all the necessary tools and training to successfully lead their sales teams and drive field force effectiveness. This position requires the ability to accurately assess needs and partner closely with Business Unit (“BU”) leadership, Sales Management, Strategic Account Development lead and Human Resources to drive, develop and deliver content aligned with our core sales, management and leadership competencies. Content and learning solutions will include the following: instructor-led, e-learning, webinars, video, job aids, and facilitator guides. He/she will also collaborate with external vendors and internal or field-based subject matter experts, as necessary, to design and deliver select portions of the training program/curriculum.This position requires the development of sound instructional design for learning content as well as the direct responsibility to coordinate and facilitate workshop sessions.These initiatives could include, but are not limited to: * Partner with existing Learning & Development, Sales leadership and Strategic Account Development lead to develop and deliver selling skills and account management resources and training
* Help evaluate and edit existing learning programs using instructional design principles and drive impact of sales learning platforms. * Provide facilitation of content workshops in person and online. * Leverage a variety of sources to identify appropriate learning solutions including: vendors, field & internal subject matter experts and industry best practices * Partner with stakeholders to identify appropriate field-based and internal facilitators to deliver function specific portions of the program * Source outside subject matter experts to develop and deliver technical portions of the program * Schedule and coordinate train-the-trainer sessions for all outside facilitators and speakers * Provide ongoing updates to BU leadership and Human Resources regarding program initiatives and outcomes * Collect feedback on program effectiveness and update content to ensure appropriate return on investment * Use learning technologies and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, quiz and survey tools, Webinar tools, Articulate Storyline, file sharing, etc.)POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work with L&D team and Business Unit (BU) leadership to proactively and reactively develop detailed and instructionally sound learning programs * Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills interacting with all levels of an organization * Experience supporting and collaborating. * Uses technology to engage learners to meet learning objectives * Develops engaging learning reinforcement leveraging short videos, audio podcasts, quizzing and gamification concepts. * Takes ownership and accountability for final deliverables and resolves issues to achieve own work objectives; alerts others when a process is not working and recommends solutions * Facilitates workshops, virtual instructor-led sessions, or other business unit meetings as the needs and opportunities present themselves * Demonstrates an understanding of L&D processes and how alignment with collaborative partners across business units contributes to meet the overall Zoetis business objectives ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS * Learning and Development * USLT Members * Marketing Petcare & Diagnostics * Human Resources * Sales * Legal * Regulatory * Business Operations * External Vendors EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Requirements: * College Degree (BS, BA, or related degree); Master”s degree preferred * Candidate should have successful sales experience in animal health or human pharmaceuticals * Candidate should have minimum 5+ years” work experience in the training and/or learning environment * Strong instructional design experience; detail and solution-oriented * Must be able to interact with team members and stakeholders in a problem-solving, constructive manner * Ability to think strategically/creatively and juggle multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment with the flexibility & adaptability to change priorities as needed * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) * Engaging presentation skills * Ability to collaborate, adapt and follow up; solutions-oriented TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS * Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint) skills required * Full understanding and experience with an array of authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) * Highly organized and exceptional detail-orientation * Ability to coordinate complex and interrelated projects * Strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve objectives * Above average communication and interpersonal skills
* Facilitation Accreditations & CertificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Travel expected 25% – 30%
