Manager Digital Asset Management
Job SUMMARY: The Digital Asset Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Tyson Foods' digital asset management systems and processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing ingestion and consumption of digital assets, ensuring adoption of enterprise DAM technology, adherence to associated governance processes, data integrity, security, training, and promoting the DAM platform to Tyson team members and business partners. This position will work closely with a wide variety of teams including Sales & Marketing, Packaging, Corporate Affairs, Legal and Information Systems to ensure business continuity as it relates to the management of digital asset and integration withassociated line of business applications. Responsibilities Serve as the single point-of-contact for the digital asset management system and associated governance processes. Responsible for leading overall strategy, implementation and workflow of the Digital Asset Management system. Responsible for the metadata, taxonomies and all other data integrity components associated with the Digital Asset Management system. Manage client, brand, and product lists; includes working withlegal to assign the appropriate client usage rights Implement standard processes and guidelines for the maintenance of master content Input and update detailed content and metadata into Master Content Repository Develop a comprehensive taxonomy for organizing information resources based on brand business goals and requirements from stakeholders Identify and manage data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness Uphold governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized data naming, establish consistent data definitions, and monitor overall quality of content Oversee the migration and archiving of existing/historical content into the digital asset management system as well as assigning appropriate metadata for these assets Work closely with brand teams, creative agencies, photographers and regulatory team members to ensure that accurate and compliant content is used for archiving Manage the processto register internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions Facilitates retrieval of previously cataloged images for individuals, agencies, customers that do not have usage rights Work with vendor onimplementation timelines and assist the internal support team on tasks such as user support, system maintenance and upgrade Manage the Digital Asset system and facilitates the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system Monitor system usage and search experience trends to improve user experience participation Generates asset download reports and maintains accurate procedures and records for the system Responsible for creating/updating training material and provides support to team members, partners and agencies Keeps informed of latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations Manage multiple content management solution projects simultaneously, from concept kickoff to final approval and archiving Skill Set Proven experience with enterprise DAM processes, current and emerging technologies and overall best practices. Demonstrated familiarity with metadata standards, communication standards, and classifyingsystems.
