Manager of Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality Food Safety- Mendota, ILThis is an exempt level position.Archer Daniels Midland Co., a world leader in agricultural processing, has an immediate opening for an Environmental, Health & Safety / Quality Food Safety Manager at our new ADM Milling location in Mendota, Illinois.ADM is seeking a highly motivated leader with a strong background in Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Food Safety. This position requires a deep working knowledge and experience in a food processing setting with proven results in the disciplines.
In this role you would join the Plant Operations and Commercial team at a new state-of-the-art Flour Mill.

Areas of emphasis desired include Occupational Health & Safety, Quality and Food Safety, Grain Science, Engineering.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a lead role with responsibility over the Environmental, Health and Safety / Quality Food Safety functionFront line floor management experience in an automated food manufacturing facility.
Preferably in a Flour Mill or Food Production Facility environmentAbility to understand Environmental, Safety and Food Safety regulations and risk reduction techniques.Ability to understand Quality Management System(QMS) requirements as it relates to FSMA, HARPC, CFR 21 Sec 117 and BRC Standards.Ability to manage a staffed Quality Laboratory in a Flour Mill or Food Production Facility environment.
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure compliance with established QMS requirements.Experience with automated Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePointJob Responsibilities: Develop and Implement plant policies and proceduresEnsures all colleagues are properly trained by developing and/or presenting training materialsPromotes colleague engagement towards continuous improvement in a self-directed team environmentEnsures compliance with regulatory, corporate, customer and 3rd party audit requirements.Manage all aspects of Food Safety Plan and QMS requirements within programs as developedManages environmental compliance with various permits, requirements and best practices Investigates to completion non-conformity, assure root cause analysis and reviewResponsible for implementing solutions to correct issues and provide follow-up and documentationActive in the production areas daily performing various duties
