We currently have a position available at our Simplot Headquarters – Boise, ID. SUMMARYThe Manager, International Documentation and Order Management is responsible for supervising all aspects of Food Groups international documentation and carrier booking activities, initiatives, & processes. This role provides guidance, oversight and direct supervision to the International Documentation and Order Management Team. Additionally, will focus on reducing our dependence on singular points of entry (ports) while coordinating ensuring the group is constantly updated with ever-changing customs protocols. Plans, organizes, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the International Documentation and Order Management Team. RESPONSIBILITIES* Plans, organizes, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the International Documentation and Order Management Team. * Effectively interfaces with Customer Service, Global Trade and Regulatory Compliance, Sales Operations, and Drayage teams to ensure our international customers receive the required service, in a cost effective manner that also meets all regulatory requirements. * Manages the process, and resolves issues, pertaining to daily international transactions from order to shipment and documentation submission. * Oversees the tactical execution of ocean carrier contracts and, in doing so, ensures carrier assignments are made in a manner that ensures cost effective customer service. * Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to the International Documentation and Order Management Team.
REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university* Five to ten years of international logistics experience. * Must understand basic international documentation and transportation processes and be able to work with IT professionals to enable our systems to manage those processes and improvements. * Must have a good grasp of customer requirements as they pertain to order management and international documentation. * Must know what it takes to craft win-win, constructive relationships with service providers. * Adheres to all standards, policies and systems as appropriate.
