He/she will be accountable for providing operating plan direction and actions and develop the Lifecycle Strategy. This colleague will also focus on identifying opportunities with New Products and Technologies to be internally developed or externally acquired. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives which support the immediate and long term growth of the Zoetis MFA product portfolio. Rigorously monitor and gather key customer insights, and competitive activities and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies. Develop sales and operating budgets, manage and operate within approved financial parameters to enhance profitability. Develop and execute timely marketing activation plans in support of demand creation efforts. Participate in the ongoing financial planning, market development and product demand forecasting for assets within the portfolio and any new assets forth coming. Actively work with multiple internal stakeholders (Marketing Communications, Channel Team, Market Research, Regulatory, Technical Services, Beef Sales and LPS, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Learning & Development, Manufacturing) and external vendors to drive strong market growth. Be highly responsive in managing all communications with customers, LPS, Territory Business Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Area Business Managers, Corporate Accounts, Customer Interaction Team, and Senior Management. Lead development and execution of NSMs and POAs. Provide clear direction to and actively engage with Global and US Diagnostics, CDLCI, BD and VMRD in order to build and maintain a robust product and services pipeline that ensures a solid competitive advantage and meets customer needs. As a leader within Cattle and Equine Marketing, model Zoetis” Values and Leader Behaviors and communicate the importance of conducting business in a manner consistent with those values and behaviors ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS The Manager, MFA Marketing will regularly align with the Senior Director US Cattle Marketing as well as his/her Cattle Marketing colleagues, Marketing Communications, Digital, OTC Team and other key stakeholders in the HQ. This position will actively engage and align with the Beef Sales Team, Channel, LPS and Technical Services and manage relationship with advertising agencies as well as other external service providers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Education:
* BS or BA required. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.Professional: * Four (4) or more years of marketing experience with demonstrable success. Animal health marketing experience is preferred. * Excellent understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process. * Proven ability to develop and deliver best in class integrated marketing plans and programs to address a dynamic market. * Demonstrated experience in leading or influencing a team from a key role in a strategic business initiative * Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and computer software skills among standard company programs. * Highly responsive and results oriented. Strategically agile and energized by a fast moving environment. * Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses. * Proven ability in handling and effectively prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude.
