SUMMARY:This position is responsible to develop and deliver Leadership Training and assisting in the coordination and delivery of all Tyson Foods & department training programs in the Poultry & Prepared Foods BU's, including Management leadership and technical skills training; plant orientation [hourly and management]; hourly floor training; and special training events which may include (but not limited to) policies and best practice skill sets to lead TEAM Members effectively and in alignment with our 5Cs and culture. This position will interact regularly with both Corporate and Complex/Plant Team Members from all functional areas. This position will conduct training needs analysis, interviews and focus group activities in our plants; review training needs with the Training Managers and Training Coordinators at the complex level to make sure efforts are aligned with our strategies and culture; work closely with the different complex/plant management team to schedule and organize facility-based training; analyze, monitor and track progress and participation in assigned training and retention programs; provide support as needed on the implementation and initial deliverance of assigned training programs, e.g. Front Line Leadership (FLL), Complex Management Leadership Development Program, etc.; working with the Operations Training Program Lead and peers, will assess, design, implement and follow-up to measure successand effectiveness of all levels of training in the facilities; assist in the selection, training and mentoring of all complex/plant training Team Members. Other duties include: work with the Training Managers on the Operations Training andWorkforce Optimization Team as they support the different Complex/Plant Operations and HR management to define, develop and provide the training needed to develop and Retain our Team Members; support the roll out process of all packets including but not limited to the Orientation, Onboarding and Mentoring programs; develop and facilitate all required Achieve-Global, DDI, Seven Habits & Birkman training sessions at Corporate or at the Complex/Plant level or as otherwise assigned; work with Community Colleges to assist with the outsourcing of training, and/or the securing of economic development or state funding grants for assigned plants and as needed or directed. Achieve a basic understanding of all skill setsfor positions at the Complex/Plant level to better understand needs; manage time effectively, including the proper prioritizing of assigned projects; work closely with the rest of the Operations Training and Workforce Optimization team in the planning, organizing and delivery of training in regional sites; other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degreeExperience: 5+ years of experienceCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills; bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills. Special Skills: Achieve Global, Seven Habits, DDI & Birkman certified.
