Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Operations Management Business Analyst assists the effort in designing, developing and implementing the MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) space within CSSTNA?s manufacturing facilities. This individual will help define product line specific business requirements, implement improved business processes, ensure successful deployment of the new SAP integrated MOM & MES system, manage system and process testing, manage training of system users for their designated area, and assist with stabilization efforts. The MOM Business Analyst will report to the CSSTNA SAP Business Implementation Manager (BIM). This role requires significant collaboration and teamwork within CSSTNA, especially with our manufacturing facilities and with Global IT.Principal Accountabilities? 70% – Fusion Proram Business Analyst Role ? Assist in the design, development and implementation of the ERP integrated MOM & MES. Responsibilities include: Completing business readiness activities in preparation for formal project execution, documenting business specific knowledge and gathering business requirements, validating system configuration and processes meet business needs, ensuring functionality is appropriately tested and trained, assist in facilitating Manafacturing Operations Management (MOM) mapping for different product lines, and the business is successfully stabilized with the new system. Ensures consistent implementation of system configuration and processes throughout the organization that are reviewed and approved by the MOM / MES Plant Operations PIL. ? 10% – CCE – Support CCE Lead with execution of change plan; promote process change in organization. Partner with CCE in developing training materials associated with the MES. Create and implement a training plan for training end Users at the different facilities. ? 10% – Cross Functional PIL Support ? Assist the PIL?s in Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and others in all project activities. ? 10% – Other work efforts as directed by PIL?s or BIM.
? Post-secondary education or 3 years (or more) of equivalent of manufacturing experience? 3 years (or more) of combined work experience in operations management and project management PLUS advanced knowledge of plant floor processes and systems? 1 year (or more) of experience in using, designing, developing and/or implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) ? Ability to travel up to 50% of the time? Ability to provide leadership and motivation to engage employees in the business? Strong conceptual, strategic thinking, problem solving, technical and analytical skills? Strong risk management skills? Ability to effectively prioritize and ensure IT Project execution? Superior written and verbal communication skills? Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint)Preferred
? 4 year degree or 3 years (or more) of equivalent experience in lieu of degree? 1 year (or more) of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Mapping? Strong analytical skills; capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross process upstream and downstream impacts? 2 years (or more) of experience working in the SAP and/or Savigent software solution ? 2 years (or more) of Project management/PPM experience? Knowledge of CSSTNA product line value chains and work processes? Very strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new concepts
