Manufacturing Technology Clean Label Process Development Engineer

process safety, product quality, and capacity Responsibilities:Asa Clean Label Process Development Engineer, you will report to a ManufacturingTechnology Process Development Leader who supports multiple technologies and processeswithin the Nutrition and Health business. You will be directly responsible for development of new systems andtexturants processes that involve minimal processing of natural raw material. You will drive scale-up activities and helptransfer product from R&D to full scale manufacturing. Key responsibilities are to: Own and support process safety
initiatives within your pilot plants and labs Own process development for a
new line of clean label systems and texturants products and support the
transition from lab scale to pilot scale, to production scale Identify, evaluate, and select
unit operations to maximize product performance and production efficiency Coordinate and execute lab and
pilot scale work associated with clean label process development Develop and document process
technology information ? establish critical operating limits; establish
product and raw material specification ranges; and develop/understand
connections between operational parameters, physical properties, and
applications performance Ensure processes are developed
to deliver maximum business and customer value Thisposition requires significant international travel (25%) or temporary livingarrangements. DuPont can be flexibleabout travel and relocation arrangements for the ideal candidate. Somedetailed responsibilities are as follows: Own

and vendors).Remain current on industrybest practices, technology improvements, and available resources to ensurefully leveraging knowledge that exists outside of DuPont.Qualifications:RequiredEducation:
BS in Chemical Engineering;
Master level qualification a plus Qualifications: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Strong safety leadership and
experience with process safety management. Significant experience with
process R&D / process development and finding creative solutions to
introduce new processes. Technology knowledge of MCC, Carrageenan,
Alginates, and other hydrocolloids Competence in engineering
fundamentals. Ability to interpret and
apply broad basis principles, theories and concepts. Ability to work cross
functionally with R&D, Applications, Regulatory, Manufacturing,
Analytical, and Commercial teams Strong problem solving,
prioritization, and risk based management skills. Data based decision making and
strong results driven/action orientated approach to projects. A demonstrated history of delivering
results bringing projects in safely, on time and on budget.
The ability to effectively
present at both informal and formal training settings. International experience and
bi-lingual capabilities a plus.
