Northern Mid-West U.S. (1805131) Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to improve key BASF solution brand awareness and key solutions? specification position at targeted design firms and enable the local sales organization within Construction Chemicals (EBN).As part of the Building Solutions Team and reporting to the Manager of Strategic Development (EBN/S), you will provide a local marketing/specification presence (Northern Mid-West) and sales enablement function for the BASF Construction Chemicals business unit. As the marketing/specification liaison between our customers and the organization, you will ensure that our customers? needs are recognized and met by focusing on new building projects in a discrete geography, develop brand awareness and specification position with BASF?s top finished goods solutions with key design offices, and facilitate success of the local sales organizations. You will build future revenue opportunities that would be realized through the local sales organizations. In this role, you will be given some freedom and budget to employ different strategies to achieve goals. While not directly responsible for sales, you will have sales pipeline and activity-based expectations. Lastly, while the role is within the Construction Chemical (EB) business unit, you will be responsible for representing BASF finished goods at this value chain position.Formula for SuccessYour ability to recognize, prepare and sell value-oriented concepts to others will serve you well as you identify A&E offices that have high likelihood for BASF value long term and develop those offices as a Key Account Manager. You will become the facilitation point for that office and BASF.Leveraging your education in Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Engineering or Science combined with your experience selling value added solutions to the building industry, working as a practicing design professional, and/or working with building specifications, you will identify, build, and manage an opportunity pipeline of near to mid-term projects from targeted design offices that are attractive to BASF.Your ability to facilitate discussions with stakeholders of different levels/abilities will be essential as you develop and maintain a network of professional relationships with key specifiers at assigned offices and with the local BASF sales organization to create a focused competitive advantage for BASF finished goods.Using your familiarity with construction specifications and appropriate design language, you will improve BASF's specification position for key BASF solutions at assigned design offices, striving for basis of design.Demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the organization, you will collaborate/enable the local sales organization by translating the opportunity project pipeline to actual sales results.Successfully engaging across the business, you will work with local sales teams to enable them to exceed their annual revenue goals via regular communication, facilitation, qualified project awareness and being the coordinating approach at assigned design offices.Your entrepreneurial mindset will be a valued asset as you help targeted design firms innovate through our key BASF solutions and achieve the client's needs.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
