Working closely with the VP Global Food Marketing and Marketing team leaders, the Market Research & Insights Manager is responsible for designing and executing market research and generating intuitive, actionable and data-driven insights supported by compelling narratives that can illuminate, inspire and contribute to sustainable organic and bolt-on business growthPassionate to understand the needs of customers and their consumers, the successful candidate will work closely with marketing, sensory, technical counterparts, sales and other colleagues to drive unparalleled stakeholder value Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and execution of primary and secondary research according to best practice methodologies in support of insights and business goalsApply expertise in market and VOC research, syndicated data and application of advanced analytics Leverage an arsenal of research sources including scrappy techniques, traditional practices and modern methods to uncover consumer, customer, market, channel and category insights
Lead the analysis and synthesis of varied and disparate data inputs and develop logical, objective and actionable insights aligned with business goals and objectives
Synthesize and report findings and recommendations through holistic and compelling story-led communications to key stakeholders including senior leadership, in a timely fashion
Build & implement trends and insight monitoring infrastructure to support market, customer and consumer understanding in support of business needs.
Stay abreast of new tools and methods and guide investment in research, infrastructure, insights and analytics capabilities
Provide input to VP Marketing to support ad hoc requests, strategic planning and key marketing initiatives Support sales through timely communication, targeted insights and presentations to strategic customers, purposeful product demonstrations, and best practice customer engagement experiences
Demonstrate ability to interact, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels, across geographies and divisions
Work closely with research partners and agencies to ensure high levels of service, support and effectiveness
Respond to requests in a timely fashion with a high level of professionalism and proficiency
Build and demonstrate working knowledge of ADM Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Market Research, Marketing or Business related field required Master?s degree in a related field or MBA strongly preferredProven experience designing and managing both quantitative and qualitative research methods and the ability to generate relevant and actionable insights connected to consumer, customer and business needsWorking knowledge of digital strategies, tactics and the role of related technologies in B2B including cloud-based computingExperience in the specialty ingredients industry or relevant food / beverage experience strongly preferredSocial media savvy across different on-line platforms and experienced in sentiment analysisMotivated by distilling insights from lots of data and
