Market Solutions Specialist
Leading global producer of dairy and milking equipment is hiring a Market Solutions Specialist in Chicago, IL or Kansas City, MO area to work collaboratively with the Market Solutions Manager and innovation team to define and address dairy farmers needs. With your marketing expertise, you will help the dealer network have all the tools they need to meet the demands of dairy farmers and help the sales team be well-equipped to answer questions, understand solutions and provide value to the customers while impacting company growth and performance with your insights and knowledge. The Market Solutions Specialist supports the service team, working with pricing strategy, solution roll outs, training and supporting dealers and the direct sales team. This position works closely with the dealer organization to build a spare parts and service business pipeline to maintain existing solutions and lead future product and solutions development. This role will focus on supporting business segment growth and enhancing the customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy and implementation, including a constant review of parts commercially available and their maintenanceDevelop commercial skills and understanding of the North American dairy industryDrive the overall experience of the customer, working across the organization to ensure a seamless experience between different areas of the organizationHelp the development of marketing assets (literature, presentations, videos, etc.) used to educate customersSupport training and other activities with dealers and sales teamsUnderstand strategic selling process to identify and develop messaging and support tools as needed through the sales cycleProvide support to dealers and sales force with an integrated solutions approach engaged with all product portfoliosSupport service and aftermarket support toolHelp gather business intelligence about the local markets DESIRED PROFILEBachelor s degree in Marketing, Science, Animal Science or Agriculture other degrees may be acceptable, based on work experience3 years of relevant work experienceExperience in technical product marketing with an affinity for technology, equipment and devicesExperience in cows, dairy, animal husbandry or agricultureExperience working with dealers and distributors is preferredExperience with software databases is desirableCustomer/marketing mind setSelf-motivated/starter who takes ownership of the businessWorking cross-functionally, must work well individually and collaborativelyEffective priority management skillsDemonstrated ability to support the sales team and help drive sales growthProven ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of a manufacturing-based industryStrong communication/presentation skills to groups in sales or training settingsStrong networking/teaming skills building productive working relationships internally and externallyHighly proficient Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Excel and WordAbility to travel at least 30%Apply for this job.
