 Description JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEThe position of Marketing Coordinator exists for the purpose(s) of assisting key stakeholders and team members in all retail-marketing efforts. The Marketing Coordinator's responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with implementation of marketing programs for both domestic and export accounts, creating and updating customer reference, point of sale and other marketing materials, managing the online premium and POS store and the digital asset management system, and recording expenses and reconciling budgets. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIESAssists in the in-house creation, ordering and printing of various point of sale materials needed for sales, national and regional trade shows.Supports the maintenance of the Sunkist online store including, updating downloadable materials, proof approvals for new items, research for developing new promotional items, assisting with the sales team with custom promo orders.   May also assign and manage new promotional inventory numbers.Assists in the development and implementation of marketing promotions and programs, including sell sheets, header cards and pamphlets, including trafficking through legal department for approvals.Processes weekly and monthly coupon redemption invoices and creates new coupons for all retailers.Assists in the arrangement of photo shoots as required, including working with photographers to book space/time.   Coordinates meetings with stylists and photographers and fruit orders.Codes all marketing invoices and processes all wire requests from vendors.Assigns and updates budgets and project codes in NAV financial system.Maintains and submits back up paperwork when necessary.With direction, maintains and updates budget spreadsheet.Resolves accounting discrepancies or irregularities with Finance Department and vendors.Meet professional obligations through regular and timely attendance, and efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective, accurate and timely manner. OTHER DUTIESInternal contact with all levels of employees in Marketing, Sales, Varietal Management and Finance. External contact with creative agencies, vendors and packinghouses.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.Maintains a neat work area; professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.Attends meetings as requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications/Licenses, Experiences, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)High school graduate; 2 years college level courses (60 units) in a marketing or business related field or equivalent work experience.1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or coordinator position, preferable within a marketing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must).Results-oriented with excellent organizational and communications skills.Ability to work with multiple departments within the organization and juggle ongoing projects simultaneously.Experience with budgeting and invoice processing a plus.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (List not all inclusive) Measurements: 67-100% of time = Continuously, 45-66% of time = Frequently, 66% of time = OccasionallyContinuously:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential functions consistent with Sunkist standards, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Sunkist standard, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.Must be able to: talk, listen and speak effectively on telephone; read, write and understand written documents and policy; sit for sustained periods of time. Frequently:Ability to type or otherwise work primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm.Must be able to spend extended period of time viewing computer screen and/or operating a keyboard. Occasionally:Moderate Carrying – must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Able to stand; walk short distances; pull and/or push; grasp; reach; bend; stoop; kneel; crouch.Must be able to travel by automobile EQUIPMENT USED FOR THIS POSITIONGeneral office equipment such as calculator, copy machine, scanner, computer and keyboard.Laptop computer MENTAL REQUIREMENTSMust have the ability to: Listen and understand, remember, evaluate and analyze information.Use rational/logical and problem-solving approach to the job at hand.Understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.Use critical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills to help with budgets.Work individually and in a team for the purpose of collaborating and follow up in completing projects.Be detail oriented, self-motivated and flexible (a team player who is always willing to pitch in with other tasks as needed to successfully support the department).Compute, analyze and interpret data for reporting purposes.Organize and prioritize own work; Reprioritize continuously throughout the day or week as needed. WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment subject to continuous interruptions and background noises.The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.Work may include extended periods of time viewing a computer monitor and or operating a keyboard.May travel locally on occasion to fulfillment house, printer and retail supply stores.Must work in office Monday – Friday. A regular telework schedule will not be considered.
