We are currently searching for interns to work with our Marketing teams for a 12-15 week, temporary intern assignment based in Walnut Creek, California??Description of Job:?The Marketing story-telling internship is designed to provide in-depth experience for qualified students focused on agriculture/science journalism or marketing.? The intern will be responsible for creating content for a social media and digital ag education platform for crop sustainable solutions and demonstrate the story-telling approach for vegetables, rice and peanuts for Valent U.S.A., LLC.? Interns will begin by learning about our customers, Valent?s crop sustainable solutions portfolio strategy and key deliverables for telling the story in a social media and digital ag education platform. The project will partner with another student intern whose emphasis is in agriculture/science education or marketing with a focus on learning styles and best methods for digital or experiential education. The position is located out of the VUSA Headquarters in Walnut Creek, California.? Travel will be required in vegetable, rice and peanut growing regions throughout the U.S. The project will cover new products and our organic and sustainable product portfolio. Interns will be mentored by the Valent Marketing Campaign, Crop and Sustainable Solution Marketing Managers. The internship will culminate in a seminar for the associated Crop Teams using the story-telling content developed during the summer and a presentation that recommends ?how to? develop social media content and digital ag education platform for the assigned crops.?Upon completion of the internship, students will be exposed to the following core competencies of Marketing. Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, team-oriented and resourceful, with a desire to learn. The project will cover new products, organic and sustainable product portfolio. Interns will be mentored by the Valent Marketing Campaign, Crop and Sustainable Solution Marketing Managers. The internship will culminate in a seminar for the vegetable, rice and peanut using the story-telling content developed and a presentation that recommends ?how to? develop social media and digital ag education content for the assigned crops. Candidates must demonstrate past leadership experience in previous jobs or in school or community-related activities.?
