The Parasiticide therapeutic area is the largest in the veterinary market and we are seeking a talented, innovative marketer to drive the successful management of all elements of the marketing mix for a product in our parasiticide portfolio which contains, Feline and Canine Revolution, ProHeart 6 and Simparica. Position PurposeThe Marketing Manager, Parasiticides will be responsible for defining strategy, planning, forecasting, product development, and ultimately be accountable for P&L results of one of the products in our parasiticide portfolio which contains, Feline and Canine Revolution, ProHeart 6 and Simparica. This individual will lead our marketing efforts in both the professional channel and also for our direct to pet owner initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities1. Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives which support the immediateand long term growth of the Zoetis parasiticide brands. 2. Lead the strategic planning efforts for the inline parasiticide brands including market and competitive analysis, brand positioning, pricing and development of a communications plan focused on both external and internal customers 3. Participate in short-term and long-term financial planning, development of sales andoperating budgets, management of and operating within approved financial parameters toenhance profitability.* Responsible to manage the A&P budget* Operating Plan preparation for assigned products 4. Actively work with multiple internal stakeholders (market research, regulatory,finance, manufacturing, Global Commercial Management, inventory/distribution) and all necessary external vendors to maintain strong market growth and increase demand for Zoetis parasiticide brands. 5. Provide timely marketing materials and programs to the sales force and all channelpartners in support of demand creation efforts. 6. Develop, implement and measure effective CRM and DTC programs that educate theconsumer and drive clinic demand leading to overall market growth and increasedproduct usage. 7. Manage all communications from customers, territory managers, area sales managers,and senior management on assigned products. 8. Direct and maintain ongoing relationships with agencies and consultants. 9 Develop a strong knowledge of competitive landscape and customer insights including managing all competitive intelligence. 10 Provide feedback and manage communications to appropriate Zoetis senior management. Qualifications (i.e., preferred education, experience, attributes) * Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably animal health/pharmaceutical, with a history of demonstrated success in delivering business results in innovative and rapidly changing environment. * Proven ability to develop and deliver best in class integrated marketing plans (B2B and B2C). * Superior customer focus and the ability to work with others to achieve personal and team goals. * Strong oral and written communication skills required. Able to deliver effective presentations to large business groups. * Excellent project management skills * Strong analytical skills and abilities. * Bachelor degree required (MBA preferred).
