Effingham, IL?Summary:?Under the direction of the CEO, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. In addition, train, organize and direct employees in a fashion, which will generate and increase profitable sales and adequate levels of service.??Essential Functions:?Supervises, leads and develops the Management and Sales Team.Develops and implements Marketing Plans including marketing communications, strategic plans and target budgets, etc.Responsible for the profitability of the organization through target marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, continual management and evaluation of people and structure, return on fixed assets and inventories, etc.Provides leadership to the Sales Teams by setting performance expectations, managing sales activities, calling on key customers and serving as a communication and public relations link to the company.Develops beneficial relationships with required vendors.Attends required meetings as requested.Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures.All other duties as assigned.??Supervisory Responsibilities:?Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training, employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.??Education and Experience:?Normally requires a Bachelor?s degree in Marketing to demonstrate business knowledge and problem-solving skills.Normally requires six or more years of sales and marketing experience to demonstrate marketing skills and sales leadership.?Apply for this job.
