Marketing Operations Coordinator
The Marketing Operations Coordinator will serve on the CPN US Marketing Communications team, providing logistical and administrative support to help the team operate at peak efficiency. The Marketing Operations Coordinator will serve as a project manager for marketing communications activities being supported by our internal designer and events coordinator, fielding incoming requests and keeping colleagues on track for approaching deadlines. This role will also support other tactics for the team, such as overall team budget management, internal communications coordination, website content edits, and other duties as requested. Some travel may be needed if supporting the team at events and/or tradeshows.
70% – Project Management of Marketing Communications Tactics:
? Provide logistical and administrative support to internal designer and event coordinator to help manage workload and timelines
? Assign projects to external resources as needed
? Communicate with other team members regarding status of projects
15% – Internal Communications and Website Management:
? Provide support for gathering and developing content for internal communications such as The Skinny or other commercial team communications
? Gather website content updates and coordinate with web support
15% – Budget Management:
? Help maintain the marketing communications budget for the various commercial teams
? Facilitate purchase orders for the teamSkills:
? Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, business, or animal science ? or 1+ years relevant work experience that demonstrates proficiency in marketing communications or project management
? Experience in Project Management ? Managing deadlines, keep projects on budget
? Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite ? Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
? Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles, tools and vehicles
? Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and influence in a decentralized organizational structure
? Strong written and oral communication skills – clear, concise, creative and persuasive
? Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability of responsible decision making
? Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload and tasks.
? Highly organized and self-motivated, able to set and follow priorities, manage multiple projects and deadlines
? Must be a team player who has a proven ability to work across multiple job families and multiple layers of the organization.
? Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in an environment that is constantly changing
