Marketing Project Coordinator
Position PurposeThis position will lead initiatives to plan, implement, measure and support branded marketing programs or projects to achieve marketing objectives for volume, revenue, profit, customer acquisitions, retention and satisfaction. Assist in guiding product positioning and measure marketing performance. Primary responsibilities of this role will include: Developing a deep understanding of external market place and needs by utilizing strategic marketing tools, sales support and activation, understanding competitive marketplace and assisting in guiding product positioning.Principal Accountabilities30%-
Leverage marketing tools to better understand the market, specifically where sales growth may be needed.
Conduct market research to expand into untapped geographies and markets.
Conduct thorough research using market mapping, buying process and outlining customer portrait. Work with sales leads to support customer segmentation and value-based pricing.
25%- Serve as marketing lead person for all creative design and copy for products, manage external website content development; manage social media and additional channels to be used going forward.15%- Execute marketing product line plans from development to implementation including promotional program by product line. Work with team members involved to monitor progress and ensure appropriate deadlines are met. 10%- Be connected to the sales team to understand and meet their marketing and customer facing needs.
Attend trade shows and customer meetings to gain valuable market and customer knowledge. 10%- Act as Salesforce.com administrator to make necessary changes, program new objects and features when necessary and manage users.
5%- Act as liaison between CDT and outside creative partners including advertising agency, corporate affairs and communications.This position is posted internally as well as externally ? ?Skills:
Required Bachelor?s degreeMinimum 3 years of experience in marketing?Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), intra and internet applications, & Adobe InDesign, and PhotoshopKnowledge of digital marketing terms ? (SEO, PPC, Remarketing, Search and Display Networks, etc)Good problem solving and research skills.
