We are currently searching for a full-time Marketing and Sales Representative to join our company in our New Rochelle, New York office.?Core responsibilities of the Marketing and Sales RepresentativeEstablish and maintain customer relationships in the retail, wholesale and foodservice segments of the fresh produce industry.Maintain consistent communication with customers to effectively service their purchasing and program needs while formulating innovative marketing strategies to optimize sales growth with each customer.Work with category managers to implement plans of action based on current and projected market conditions for all commodities and import seasons.Track commodity sales and analyze sales trends.Special projects as directed by the Sales Manager.?Desired Professional and Personal QualificationsBachelor?s degree required.1-3 years of marketing experience in the fresh produce industry with a proven record of enhancing current customer relationships and fostering new customer relationships.? Experience with sourcing and marketing of fresh avocados is a plus.Computer proficiency: complete familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications, experience with web-based platforms including iTrade, Foodlink, and Retail Link plus a readiness to learn new customized software and systems.Fluency in written and spoken English with a warm, personable telephone manner.? Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is also a plus.?Bright, energetic individual with initiative, flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced business environment.?Pay Rate & Company Benefits?LGS Specialty Sales, Ltd. offers a competitive compensation package including salary, performance bonus, medical and dental insurance, vacation, 401K plan with company match and an annual profit sharing contribution.
