Learn more at www.adm.com. Master Data Management Solution Architect ? Erlanger, KYThis is an exempt level position. Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Lead MDM Architect.
This role will own responsibility for the architecture and design of the MDM system, and at times will lead consultants in delivering solutions. The Architect must have a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data quality, master data management, data governance, data modeling and other data services related to business intelligence systems. This position is responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company?s vision, and supporting an MDM implementation on an Informatica technology platform. The successful candidate will translate master data requirements into technical specifications, designing and overseeing the delivery of functional and technical components for master data solutions. This individual will work with business representatives to understand needs and collaborates in generating the best solution to solve business needs.
In addition, this individual is expected to recommend and implement appropriate technical approaches for data management and integration solutions, and will also be responsible for the development, analysis and maintenance of all master data including the rationalization and deletion of data, and is also accountable for accurate and time critical application of MDM change processes.
Job Responsibilities: Participate in products roadmap planning, recommending technologies and solutionsPlan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with business users Manage, lead, and mentor team members in the areas of data services, data design, data modelingAbility to lead teams and build consensusDeliver projects/work on-time, on-budget, and in a way that accomplishes project goalsAble to work on simultaneous part-time projects without sacrificing deliveryFoster relationships and nurture partnerships with data management partnersProvide thought leadership, create position papers and participate on Architecture CoEs within ADMWork with data warehouse and data integration teams to ensure successful integration with enterprise data warehouse solutionsIdentify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily workPrepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues and managementHands-on development, architecture and expertise with tools in the Informatica product suiteDocument systems through data models, data definitions and naming conventionsSpeak effectively before groups of business and IT personnelDesign data quality policies, data conversion and integration flows, data dictionaryDesign data retention and archiving policies in support of company and regulatory requirements Provide fit-gap recommendations to teams when designing solutions to new requirementsLoad data into data structures using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, Microsoft Integration Services, Oracle Golden Gate and/or Informatica, TSQL or similar tool (ETL)Develop unique solutions to address user data challengesDefine measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM platform Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows
