Material Requirements Planning Team Lead

Position Purpose & Summary

This position will lead the Material Requirements Planning team for Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate North America (CCCNA) consisting of six facilities in United States and Canada, and optimization activities related to daily supply chain workstreams that encompass multiple supply chain functions including procurement, supply/demand planning, and production planning.? The scope of the role will include leadership of 5-10 supply chain individuals, partnering and influencing Cargill?s Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (CSSP) and Cargill Business Services (CBS) to manage supplier relationship and procure to pay workstreams, and initiating/executing multiple supply chain projects. This position is accountable for leading efforts in implementing best practices for procurement workstreams, enhancing process improvements to streamline supply chain operations, and ultimately delivering value capture through RTS/Business Acceleration (BA).?? The position also carries the responsibility of cross functional work partnering with CCCNA demand and supply planning teams as well as plant ops and regional leadership teams.?

Principal Accountabilities
?
50% Team Leadership ? Lead a team of 5-10 individuals that raw materials and ingredients across six production facilities.? The role will be required to create cost savings initiatives and lead multiple functions in the execution of those initiatives.? The role will also be responsible to implement appropriate process metrics to report results on multiple dashboards and subsequently provide analysis of varying degrees.

25% Cross-Functional Leadership and Business Partnership ? Collaborate and partner with Cargill?s Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (CSSP) and Cargill Business Services (CBS) to establish and maintain best in class service levels at the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) with suppliers.? The role will be required to build relationships and leverage span of influence to achieve desired results.?? Additionally, new processes and scorecards will be established in order to measure supplier performance and compliance leading to better negotiated terms for CCCNA.? Ensure proper inputs to the regional Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process on a monthly basis.? As a BPM (Business Process Manager) for Source to Pay process, ensure proper and timely payment to suppliers by managing efforts of super user network.

25% Process Improvement Projects ? Lead and/or support supply chain process improvement projects by incorporating various methodologies and tools to achieve defined value in the project charter.? Leverage Cargill?s RTS/BA methodology and tools to find and deliver a high-level of savings and efficiencies.?? Skills:
Required
Bachelor?s Degree in Business or related field
Minimum of 5 years of supply chain operational experience
Practical knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management?
Experience in SAP, MS Office, and Power BI (Business Intelligence)
Ability to identify and execute lean management opportunities
Ability to build relationship and rapport with varies levels of individuals across the organization
Ability to influence without authority
Proven analytical skills and capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers
Proven ability to lead, coach, facilitate and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience and functional spectrums
Demonstrated ability to execute broad tasks and achieve desired results through others
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated change management techniques and follow up
Demonstrated keen sense of priorities that inspires others to actionPreferred
MS Supply Chain Management, MBA, and/or relevant graduate level degree
APICS (American Production Inventory Control Society) or related certifications
10+ years of business experience
Work experience across multiple lines of business and teams
Experience facilitating IBP (Integrated Business Planning)
Demonstrated ability to lead project teams successfully
Demonstrated change agent capability
Proficient in change management techniques
Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge the status quo
