Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed the Future, and grow your career.You will be reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager.What you will do: Evaluate the performance of mechanical equipment and systems and recommends operating changes or equipment modifications to improve Plant Safety, Reliability and Efficiency or to prolong equipment lifeAssist in the design, selection and specification of new mechanical equipment or systemsAssist in the review of prepared engineering drawings and submits comments and recommendations to ensure effective final design of modified or new Plant equipment and facilitiesAssist in new project planning and installation to ensure adequate emphasis on mechanical requirements and cost controlSupervise the work of other technical professionals and contractors. Provides leadership and expert advice to other team membersWhat you will bring: BSc in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized UniversityAt least 8 years experience in the Petro-chemical industryDemonstrated competence with Process Plant Equipment, mechanical components, industry Codes and StandardsDemonstrated competence in the development of repair plans, work schedules and technical documentsGood verbal and written communication skillsComputer Literate especially with Microsoft Office SuiteAre you a good match?
