Freeport, TXWhere the ChemistryHappensWe are seeking a professional likeyou to drive reliability performance by using the most appropriate andeffective tools and techniques. You will provide technical support toProduction and Maintenance personnel, lead or participate in Root Cause FailureAnalyses, execute Bad Actor programs, and monitor KPI data for earlyidentification and resolution of reliability issues. You will collaboratewith Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related todesign review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventativemaintenance activities. You will supply technical support to the troubleshootingof problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs. Additionally, youwill ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturingtools. Formula for Success Leveragingyour educational background in Mechanical Engineering, along with yourexperience in a chemical/petrochemical or manufacturing environment inmaintenance and/or reliability, you will apply appropriate reliability tools to drive improvements,optimize costs and improve asset effectiveness. Tools may include (but not limited to) Bad Actor Program, FMEA, RBI,RBM, RCM, Reliability Roadmap, etc.Yourability to work with production and maintenance resources will allow you toidentify and propose improvement opportunities and implement sustainablesolutions for rotating and fixed mechanical equipment. Usingyour solid understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, as wellas your strong background in equipment troubleshooting (including root causefailure analysis and implementation of improvement efforts), you will lead RootCause Failure Analyses (RCFAs) and corrective actions for complex and/or repetitiveproblems. Demonstratingyour experience in the optimization of equipment PM activities and strategiesand your background in the utilization of PdM tools (i.e vibration analysis,lube oil analysis, thermography, condition monitoring, etc.) for equipmentcondition evaluation and improvement, you will evaluate new technologies andalternatives for equipment repair, seeking maintenance cost and productionimprovements.Yourthorough knowledge of mechanical equipment design and detailed understanding ofmaintenance and reliability activities associated with process equipment suchas centrifugal and other pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels, (includingheat exchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, relief devices, compressors, andsolids handling machinery of various design will be essential as you support capital projects by supplyingengineering expertise in the specification, design and construction of projectsin accordance with plant design requirements, BASF standards and regulatoryrequirements.Yourgeneral knowledge of reliability tools such as bad actor program management,FMEA, equipment criticality, and equipment strategies will serve you well asyou lead the Bad Actor program, create action plans for improving reliability,and drive implementation of those action plans.CreateYour Own Chemistry: What We Offer YouAdding value to ourcustomers begins with adding value to you.
