Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:Seeking a creative, strategic, and organized?Media Content Strategist?for the Agribusiness Division of Wilbur-Ellis Company LLC. This person will be responsible for devising and helping manage content experiences for internal teams and partner relationships. Working with the Strategic Marketing Manager and marketing team, this person will translate marketing and branding needs into custom content solutions. Our output includes but is not limited to short- and long-form articles, video scripts, website landing pages/content, social, and activation content.?This person will also oversee our paid and earned outreach in PR and social media, continuing to build relationships within the ag community as well as our website content.??Key Skills and Abilities Include:Exemplary interpersonal & relationship building skills ? works effectively across departments to communicate and build bonds, negotiates diplomatically, resolves conflict and maintains composure under tight deadlinesWorking knowledge and experience of successful and creative marketing communication techniques and strategiesExperience or interest in agriculture/food/farming/technology is a plusExperience with web and online tools (including social media), techniques, and strategiesFamiliarity with web design and publishingHighly proficient with SharePoint and the Microsoft Office SuiteProficient with copy writing and general business writing, can explain technical (agriculture technology & chemistry) and complex processes in simple termsAbility to develop and generate support for strategic communications plans that apply creative tactics and use a variety of channels.Ability to think strategically or with strategic vision in mind when developing campaign plansAbility to drive results with a collaborative mindset and to take campaign plans & projects beyond what is asked, discuss follow-up projects with staff, and think outside the boxProven ability to influence without authorityTravel: up to 30%?Key Personal Attributes Include:Bachelor?s degree or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or applicable field is preferred; editorial background is a plus.3-5 years of experience in any of the following: digital strategy and visual storytelling, content strategy, copywriting, social media and marketing; agency experience is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills; solid ability to exercise good judgement in writing and editing written communicationPassion for design and improving existing pieces with appropriate solutions to complex and technical communication problemsProven track record of being self-directed/self-motivated, detail-oriented, managing a high volume of varied work, and ability to meet deadlinesComfort in effectively working within a dynamic team of personalitiesMany projects will require independent thinking and working directly with field staffResults-oriented with a solid track record of effective media relations, excellent writing, and organizational skills with acute attention to detailEnergetic self-starter and resourceful problem solver?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Managing, creating and publishing original, high quality contentAdministering all company social media accounts and website(s) to ensure up-to-date contentDefine and lead social media and influencer strategy including identifying and building authentic brand partnerships and content.Liaise with Marketing Specialists, Product Managers and Designers to ensure content is informative and appealingCollaborate with Marketing Specialists and Product Managers to create social ?buzz? regarding new product launchesCommunicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong networkTrain internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategyStay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practicesAn ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them.Manage paid digital advertising in conjunction with Marketing SpecialistsCreate targeted audiences and manage retargeting based marketing goalsCreate and execute the agribusiness-wide social media strategy and content calendar.Utilize monitoring tools to compile weekly and monthly activity reports and make recommendationsMonitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimizationSupport events and marketing activationsOther duties as assigned?Compensation and Benefits:Competitive annual salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors) and bonus opportunityComprehensive employee health and retirement benefit offerings?Job Code:STRAT02887Apply for this job.
