SummaryDairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative is seeking a motivated individual to recruit new members to our cooperative and provide services to our current membership base. If you are a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who likes working with farmers, this could be the job for you! Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesVisits or contacts prospective members to explain benefits and costs of membership and to describe objectives of the cooperative.Collects member information, fills out appropriate forms and submits to cooperative office.Speaks to members at meetings about cooperative news and services.Provides on-site information about cooperative and membership benefits with prospects.Staffs membership booth at cooperative special events and tradeshows.Provides weekly and monthly time schedules, member activity, and competitive information via on-line tools.Visits labs for verification checks on a monthly basis and reports results to appropriate contacts, including Federal Milk Market Administrators.Other duties may be assigned. QualificationsAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilitiesCompetency in standard computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and time management Travel Must be able to travel up to 3 days a week and may include overnight stays. A company vehicle is provided. SalarySalary based on experience and qualifications. Full benefits are provided including health, retirement, and paid time off.
