MT Engineer M&R MIQA
Summary:The manufacturing technology (MT) Engineer M&R, MIQA, is responsible for plant equipment reliability (M&R), integrity (MI), and component quality assurance (QA). The engineer provides equipment design, specification, procurement, installation, life-cycle management, and disposition guidance for all plant assets. Key Elements:Identify and improve upon current equipment reliability through proactive, predictive and preventative maintenance practices for plant assets. Recommend PM cycle times, measures, materials, and scope. Build equipment PM???s in support of increasing scheduled maintenance.Provide technical support and troubleshooting to craft and production resources responding to equipment concerns and requests. Assist in maintaining adequate stockroom inventory by monitoring the availability of critical components and equipment. Support the creation of BOM???s and other methods resulting in greater reliability metrics.Utilize the SAP Maintenance Management system for evaluating and analyzing equipment repair history, repair cost tracking, instrument calibration scheduling and development of new PM???s. Provide SAP Maintenance Module administration and development.Complete company requirements for mechanical integrity including prescriptive, consequential, and mitigation elements. Identify and fill gaps through use of MIQA concepts, assessments/audits, and PSM/PHA related activities.Write and/or maintain policies, procedures and plans affecting the maintenance and reliability of equipment utilized in operations. Interpret and execute company standards and policies.Provide engineering support to and management of capital projects and expenditures.Generate and submit purchase requisitions for material and labor requirements.Evaluate new or replacement equipment, materials, and technologies in support of more reliable and safe manufacturing. Perform risk analysis and ranking of deficiencies or improvement efforts.Provide night and weekend on-call availability for answering questions and providing guidance to maintenance personnel.Attend M&R, MIQA, and business meetings, training, or other developmental activities. Conduct technical training as required.
