You will own your own work and find innovative ways to deliver on our vision of feeding the world responsibly while working along beside 15,000 people around the globe who care about you.INSERT PARAGRAPH ABOUT REPORTING STRUCTURE AND BASIC JOB INFORMATIONKey Tasks:- – Defines facility sales pricing philosophy- Creates and promotes profitability- Uses company resources to promote services beneficial to customer- Sets annual sales goals with each crop consultant- Provides sales leadership and motivation- Defines level of service consistent with sales volume and profit margins- Develops and promotes new and unique products and services- Manages facility assets- Leads and directs all aspects and daily operations of the facility to ensure efficiency and profitability- Responsible for performance management & recruiting process for all facility personnel- Coordinates ordering of fertilizers, seeds and chemicals- Forecasts and budgets for facility profitability- Promotes and enforces EH&S programs- Continued education on the developments of agricultural products/practices- Assists with building key relationships with suppliers and community- Other duties as assignedThe Ideal CandidateOutside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.Qualifications- – Minimum four years demonstrated experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience- Agricultural based degree desired- Valid driver's license is required- CDL may be required- Travel may be requiredWhy Crop Production Services?Winning together; Our Cultivating Excellence culture coupled with great people and delivering superior results with integrity is what sets Agrium apart from other career opportunities.
