NA Process Improvement Portfolio Manager

This position provides the NA Accounting &Finance (A&F) Process Improvement domain with strategic vision and management of the process improvement portfolio regionally utilizing expert knowledge of portfolio management and business and finance acumen. This position will coordinate with all NA Process Optimization Leads on the intake processes, scope, prioritization, execution, control, and results of process optimization initiatives. This position will be responsible for working with regional peers and Cargill Business Services (CBS) continuous improvement teams to design and implement a consistent and effective process optimization framework to achieve program objectives on time, on budget and realizing expected results. It will provide global visibility of all ongoing and proposed improvement projects to the Controllers leadership team and the Global Process Owner (GPO) to ensure that the goals, scope, and initiatives in the portfolio are aligned with the strategic direction. This role monitors the project portfolio, identifies and escalates risks, coordinates efforts between related projects and monitors interdependencies within the program. This position plays a lead role in project and change management for NA A&F process improvement.Principal Accountabilities?50% Program LeadershipDefine a robust process optimization framework for the management of the NA A&F process optimization portfolioIdentifies, recommends, and implements program management best practicesPartner with regional peers to develop and implement consistent work intake and management toolsProvide visibility to GPO, Controller?s LT and Regional Leads of active and proposed global initiatives for each process area, prioritization of projects, and connection to top quartile strategyAccountable for providing project sponsors and stakeholders regular status updates, actively communicating any issues and risks, and escalating issues appropriately?50% Project Planning & Control
Works with the process optimization leads to define the scope and objectives for process optimization projectsDevelop an integrated project plan for each project which includes all appropriate change, communication and education and controls assessment componentsActively monitors and measures project portfolio to identify variances from plan and take corrective actionsCoordinates efforts between projects, monitors and managing any interdependenciesEscalates issues among project appropriatelySkills:
Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor?s DegreeDetail oriented and highly organizedExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to communicate and influence across multiple stakeholder groupsAbility to identify interdependencies between processes or projectsDemonstrated change agility and change management skillsDemonstrated ability to understand and use technology to improve process and controlsAbility to find innovative ways to resolve problemsAbility to Travel up to 10%?Preferred Qualifications5+ years of project management experiencePMP certificationExperience with multiple businesses and/or international business experienceExperience with shared service organizationsExperience in a matrix organization
