NA Process Optimization Lead ? Costing

This position's preferred location is Wichita, KS.This position provides NA Accounting & Finance (A&F) with the leadership in the identification, prioritization, and execution of large-scale process optimization initiatives for end-to-end processes with the Costing Domain through the utilization of continuous improvement methodologies, providing thought leadership and vision for reaching top quartile performance. This role will be a key partner to the NA Costing Domain Lead and the Global Process Organization (GPO) to understand top quartile process objectives and develop the roadmap to achieve those objectives in the NA Region. This position will work with regional and Cargill Business Services (CBS) PI teams to understand, coordinate, and align the PI project portfolio globally. It will coordinate with the System Optimization team on any financial system changes required on process optimization projects. This role is accountable for the identification of change impacts and working with the PI Change Lead to plan and execute necessary change, communication and education project elements in coordination with the GPO and CBS. This role works closely with the NA Controls domain to ensure that financial controls are properly designed and deployed and that process documentation is updated for all process changes. This role develops the necessary process execution expertise in NA A&F to enable effective financial processes and to streamline business and process changes. This position plays a key role in project and change management for NA A&F process improvement initiatives and for building a culture of process improvement in the NA A&F organization.Principal Accountabilities60% ?Continuous Improvement, Process Standardization and OptimizationProvide thought leadership for the continuous improvement vision and strategy for NA CostingPartner with the Global Process Organization (GPO) to understand top quartile process objectives and develop plans to achieve those objectivesPartner with the GPO and regional PI Leads to develop and prioritize the PI portfolio for CostingCollaborate across regions to create and leverage best practices and partner on initiatives spanning multiple regionsIdentify, prioritize and lead the process optimization initiatives for NA A&F CostingProvides leadership and direction to assess value realization for PI initiativesBring visibility to current state versus baseline and benchmarks and Identifies areas for stabilization or enhancing the effectiveness and/or efficiency of Costing processesEnsures that process optimization initiatives follow the defined PI framework, including project plans and methodologies Apply advanced knowledge of Costing processes, concepts, and best practices to continuous improvement projects. Analyze and measure the effectiveness of improvements and recommend additional improvements to applications, processes, and policies as necessary to reach objectivesPartner with the Controls domain to ensure that financial controls are properly designed and that process documentation is updated for all process changes. Coordinate with Technology Optimization team on any financial system changes necessary to achieve objectives. Communicate new and revised policies and procedures, ensure standards are followed, and identify and notify exceptions and deviations to the GPO and NA A&F domain leads to drive alignment and consistency. ?20% Business Partnership, Stakeholder Management, Change Management

Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor?s Degree Experience
in SAP and/or JDEExperience with process improvement methodology, modeling and tools
