National Accounts Manager-Export

With headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, Bunge North America and its subsidiaries operate grain elevators, oilseed processing plants, edible oil refineries and packaging facilities, and corn, wheat and rice mills in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.Position Summary:Lead Bunges efforts to profitably grow the business with major national foodservice chain customers by developing new accounts and by improving share and value mix with existing customers in our international markets
primarily the Caribbean and Middle East. The focus will be on maintaining and developing a strategic working relationship with key international managers across the complex organizations of national and regional restaurant chains.Core Functions:Be a catalyst for the change required to meet Bunges strategic growth objectives with major foodservice chains Work with the National Account team to develop relationships with key international business managersWork as a team with marketing, product development, technical service, and product management to continually prospect and develop new opportunities to grow Bunges market shareSales plan development and execution for Bunge products to the international affiliates of key national accountsDevelop trust with customers that provides a significant competitive barrierNegotiate contracts and proposalsComplete, accurate and timely management of contracts and export documentationDefine Bunges product and service values in the sales process and establish pricing that maximizes value to Bunge based on the value deliveredSupport the existing business while growing margin and sales volume, with particular focus on value-added productsConnect other Bunge team members in applications, marketing, and price risk management resources to key customers to create a differentiated customer experience that drives value added growthDrive customer focus by being the voice of your customers within the broader Bunge organizationPerform both prospecting and account management tasks such as customer insight gathering, price intelligence, forecasting, customer development planning, customer service delivery, and contract / price management among othersKey performance IndicatorsNew accounts and product placementsVolume and total contribution margin growthValue added volume and contribution margin growthShare of customer spendT&E budgetForecast accuracyCompliance to key business processes and controlsSkill/Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.Extensive knowledge of international sales trends and the impact of commodity markets;5 plus years of sales experience in an international sales position including 3 years commodity trading experience and Asian, African and Brazilian market experience;Proficient in MS Office, SAP and experience using a CRM system (salesforce.com);Ability to travel domestically and internationally
60% travel is required.Excellent communication skills with all levels of the customer organization, senior management, peers, and subordinatesExperience operating in a cross functional organizationExperience managing in driving value added salesStrong knowledge and relationships across the foodservice channelBunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
