National Accounts Manager – Foodservice

Founded in 1818, the company is headquartered in White Plains, New York.Position Summary:Manage and generate sales of Foodservice shortening, oil and margarine products to national and / or large regional chains. Increase Bunge share of spend at new and existing customers and generate incremental sales volume and gross profit. Develop strategic relationships with Purchasing, R&D, QA and Senior Management at each customer positioning Bunge to be oil supplier of choice.This is a field sales position and will based from a home office. Ideal locations include Dallas, TX and Southern California. We will consider other locations dependent upon experience.BRING YOUR STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP SKILLS WITH YOU!Core Functions:Develop and implement 12-36 month sales strategies for key top 100 national and regional accountsDevelop and conduct new product presentationsManage, develop and maintain volume with national Foodservice chains, assuring positive contribution marginsMonitor and manage customer oil contracts to insure timely utilizationManage administrative processes necessary to efficiently and profitably serve customersBuild strong relationships with customer research and product development personnel to develop product and process solutions to fit their culinary, operational and profit needsMonitor competitive activity and industry trends and communicate key information to Bunge Oils managementSkills/Experience Requirements:BS/BA in Business/Marketing (or related field) or equivalent work experience5+ years foodservice or food ingredient sales experience required3+years of experience in the oils and shortening industry strongly preferred with a knowledge of commodity markets including commodity pricing/contracts5+years experience selling Top 100 national chain and large regional chain account business requiredTechnical selling experience strongly preferredLarge Account Management training is a plusDemonstrated business development experience in growing new and existing salesBasic knowledge of food manufacturing is a plusComputer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAPResults oriented with demonstrated analysis and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and facilitation skills requiredAbility to work in a collaborative matrixed team environment40-50% travel requiredBunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
