(Remote)Where the Chemistry HappensPerformance Materials (PM): BASF is a leading supplier of Polyurethane and Plastic solutions to the transportation, construction, consumer and industrial market segments. With global networks of more than 39 polyurethane system houses and plastic materials with a broad variety of property profiles ? BASF Performance Materials is the preferred supply partner to our customers. We are seeking a professional like you to increase sales through direct support and management of nationally-based Insulation Contractor / Distribution Accounts, as well as BASF spray foam (SPF) insulation programs / opportunities.Formula for Success ? Leveraging your education and related industry and/or training experience, you will manage programs and corporate level relationships with key national insulation accounts, and any additional groups that are added in this market.? With support and approval of Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, and Commercial Management, you will negotiate yearly supply agreements with national insulation accounts and coordinate changes and functional tasks with Pricing/Contract Management, Finance, Marketing and Customer Service teams.? Demonstrating your experience in technical and/or field sales, or customer service, you will coordinate the set-up of all new locations with technical sales training, safety/applications training and marketing support.? Your strong oral communication skills and strong PowerPoint presentation skills will be essential as you give presentations to builders, architects and code officials when needed to support BASF sales staff at these accounts.? Utilizing your experience in the insulation, construction, and/or spray foam industries, you will assist BASF sales staff in sales support and managing technical questions at these locations and other customers.? Your strong organizational skills and experience in building science, building codes, or construction design and details will serve you well as you perform special project management as required to support insulation sales growth and explore new opportunities. More specifically, you will coordinate efforts that intersect between our contractors and our Business Development team, the Disaster Durable Solutions program, and more. Where opportunities arise, you will engage the preferred quality applicators and provide technical / code support as needed.? As a subject matter expert with experience in public speaking and giving technical / sales presentations, you will provide field technical and promotional support for the BASF SPF insulation brand, which includes giving presentations to various groups (builders, architects, code officials, contractors – sales and applicator training).? Successfully engaging inside and outside the organization, you will interface with various intercompany groups related to the needs of the SPF Insulation market. Specifically, you will convey needs and technical issues related to our foam chemistries, credentials, and market competition to our Marketing and Technical teams and engage with Marketing on other promotional aspects related to SPF insulation market.
