New York Sales Representative – remote position
?The Regional Sales Representative for New York and the New England States is responsible for increasing sales in this geographic region. This individual has overall responsibility for all activities relating to the sales and customer relationship management processes. This individual will be responsible for calling on custom applicators, producers and farmers throughout their territory. Full benefits package available, including medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid vacation and holidays.This is a remote position with desired home base of NY or PA.?GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for new sales development and existing account management within an established geographic territory.Calls on prospective customers, provides technical product information and/or demonstrations and quotes appropriate customer prices.Professionally represent Independent Ag Equipment to the customer.Understand the customer?s business and product requirementsMust be able to develop a thorough understanding of Independent Ag Equipment?s products, capabilities, and services.Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.Provide timely and accurate sales forecastsCompletes sales presentations, quotations, and opportunity tracking within sales cycle.Provides sales call reports in the contact manager software and to the VP of SalesOrganizes, manages, and actively participates in all activities necessary to generate leads and identify prospective business opportunities, including trade shows.Identifies key customer prospects and decision makers and develops plans to effectively communicate and build relationships with these contacts.Manages business opportunities through all phases of the process including identification, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and follow-up.Persistently interacts with customers to identify their business needs.Translates customer business needs into opportunities for growth.Provides input to all functional departments on future customer needs.Develops strategies for growth based on a thorough understanding of the company?s products and capabilities and the markets needs and opportunities.Acquire new product and application knowledge.?EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related sales experience.Background in agriculture industry required.Knowledge of the fertilizer/chemical industry a plus.BS degree in business a plus.??SKILLS REQUIRED:A team player with excellent people skills, high energy level, and a strong drive to succeed.Demonstrated leadership in penetrating new customers and new markets.Excellent organization skills and follow-through.Some technical knowledge of application equipment is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent sales skills and focus on goal attainment.Willingness to travel; to effectively perform this job 50% or more travel is required.Well-developed personal computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.?Independent Ag Equipment is an Equal Opportunity EmployerApply for this job.
