Come join us in Global IT – it's a new Digital age!Position PurposeThe Application Enablement Manager is accountable for leading and providing direction to professionals and indirect staff related to cross-portfolio application enablement activities on a regional level.? This position is accountable to oversee the following regional enablement activities (technical solutions and architecture, testing oversight, data conversion, cutover, common process compliance, demand planning, software engineering, data engineering, application modernization, data lake architecture, etc.) across regional application portfolios requiring strong business and technical knowledge.??The position requires a strong leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the Global IT Function, Business Units/Corporate Functions, internal partners, and third-party partners.? The position will require strong technical expertise with broad understanding of activities required to enable and manage delivery on a diverse regional application portfolio.? This position will? report into the NA Business Applications Lead and have close alignment with all regional portfolio managers, EA, PMO, and Infrastructure for regional delivery. This role requires a leader who is able to lead in a digitally enabled technology world.Additionally, this position is a member of the regional applications team for the region, and as such, provides input to the strategies for the delivery of regional applications.Principal Accountabilities30% – Application Enablement Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute strategies to effectively and efficiently deliver application enablement support activities within and across multiple regional application portfolios.Partner with regional application portfolio managers and center led technology teams to develop and implement strategy for application(s) portfolio roadmaps and modernization.Develop strategic resource and delivery plans to satisfy long term view of demand in alignment with Region and Global IT Strategy.Partner with strategic sourcing, supplier governance office, finance, and Cargill Business Services (CBS) to effectively leverage internal and external capabilities.Identify and implement opportunities to leverage synergies across regional application teams.Champion, lead, and align in activites to enable Global IT function strategy and initiatives.Develop and manage regional technology investments and budgets in alignment with Global IT portfolio strategy.??Champion, lead, and align activites to enable regional portfolio(s) applications strategy and initiatives.Regularly communicate with all key stakeholders (e.g. Center Domains and Portfolios, Regional Business Applications Lead, Regional Portfolio Application Managers/Supervisors, CBS, BU/function, team members).Provide leadership and industry expertise to help define and build the strategy for regional application enablement services including SW and data engineering, architecture and technology solutions.??Provide resource management leadership to ensure team is agile and focused on the right priorities and completion of work.? Manage supply and knowledge of resources to match agreed demand resulting in timely execution and effective resource utilization.Create, develop, implement IT strategies within the scope of this role to enable business strategies.Accountable to ensure input to the strategy and technical planning of system / application technology in accordance with internal and external software and TGRC compliance standards.Partners with the portfolio teams to develop the solution strategy for application portfolios to meet portfolio strategy requirements.Forecast capacity and knowledge needed across all technology platforms to deliver upon the portfolio in the region.Participate in the determination of delivery models and strategic partnerships required to meet demand.Provide input to the baseline cost structure and performance metrics, and needed actions to decrease costs and improve efficiency.25% – Application Delivery Support?Ensures application architects, engineers, and technical leads are established and operating to a? necessary level of maturity aligning EA reference archtectures and design patterns supporting global and regional projects.Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellance of solution design and build in partnership with other 3rd party vendors and Global IT teams and processes (i.e. PMO, CBS, Portfolio Leads, SAP, etc.).Ensure alignment of design patterns, templates, development standards, and development methodologies used within the region meet Global IT standards. Participate in the establishment of the Global IT Portfolio and EA strategic direction.?Ensure technical architectures are correctly being followed in solution developmet and management ofapplication assets such as patterns, templates, and standards in alignment with Global IT strategy.Responsible for successful technical delivery execution and QA of projects delivered using center led delivery model ensuring projects meet business requirements, development standards, operationally ready, tested, supportable, and transition to steady-state.Ensure testing strategies are followed and managed in accordance to common process and testing strategies.Develop strategic resource and delivery plans to satisfy long term view of demand in alignment with Global IT Portfolio Delivery Strategy.? ?Optimize the delivery model as appropriate and in alignment with the Global Delivery Strategy closely partnering with PMO, 3rd parties, regional portfolio, and center portfolio teams to develop demand forecasting.Work to evolve delivery methodologies leveraging agile practices and models to deliver solutions.?Work closely with all the stakeholders to maximize the value of investments in the data and technology areasAccountable for team compliance with Global IT processes and data standards.Ensure application owners are appropriately developing and managing application roadmaps in alignment with the Portfolio strategy.Lead and collaborate with Application and Service Owners to develop & use KPI?s, metrics & scorecard measurements to drive continuous improvement process & operational leadership.25% – Relationship and ServApply for this job.
