The North America Hybrid Trait Integration Lead is a critical role in Monsanto???s product development pipeline. This role works directly with Monsanto's commercial team, Biotech team and Breeding pipeline team to define strategies to combine our biotech pipeline with our global germplasm platform for both corn and soy. This role will have the opportunity to interact with teams across North America's Corn and Canola markets. As a member of the Global Trait Integration team this role will be responsible for assisting in developing strategies to deliver a complex product pipeline while finding opportunities on technical and personal development. This leader will play a vital role in developing their direct team and be a key member in our Trait Pipeline Delivery Team. The roles main objectives and deliverables include: Pipeline Strategy DevelopmentDrive the development of product development cycles to introduce successive biotech trait launchesDevelop long range plans to successfully introduce and discontinue product conceptsEvaluate and determine proper resourcing needs to successfully deliver Monsanto biotech trait platform.Implement the integration of native disease resistance into Monsanto's germplasmPartner with multi functional teams to evaluate how next generation marker, analytics, gene editing and reproductive biology will disrupt and change the Trait Integration Process People LeadershipLead and develop team members to help drive business resultsActive participants on Global Trait Integration team to develop global strategies beyond their regionBuild and utilize relationship outside of Trait Integration teams to influence Global Breeding, Biotech and Commercial strategies to ensure success of TI.Qualifications:Required Skills:Master's Degree with 5-10 years experience in the seed industry or in life sciences with preference towards molecular biology and genetics Experience driving product development strategiesExperience working across multifunctional, multicultural teams to drive common goals and outcomesExperience in leading teams of scientist and driving scientific outcomes in those teamsApply for this job.
