North Pipeline Delivery Lead – #01QEH
We are seeking a motivated North Pipeline Delivery Lead. This position will be in St. Louis, MO (Chesterfield) and reporting to the Pipeline Delivery Lead. Key Responsibilities:Ensure that production sites fully implement all applicable Federal, State, local and Monsanto Internal policies and programs including but not limited to ESH, quality, regulatory and compliance protocols, and business conduct protocols.Facilitate planning for resources including facilities, equipment, and personnel for effective and efficient functioning of all programs within the regionParticipate in the hiring and supervision of salaried program staffAdminister the recruiting, training, development and retention of personnelOversee regional budgets Responsibilities: Drive the overall regional initiatives and ensure alignment with global Breeding visionProvide overall direction to the operations team and implement site strategyIdentify key performance metrics and use data/analytics to drive improved site performance to optimize labor and automation resourcesDevelop a people and talent strategy for the site that supports the technical strategy of the Breeding organization and aligns with long range planChampion the recruiting, training, development and retention of personnelDevelop people leaders. Ensure that feedback, critical conversations, coaching, and development planning are happening at all levels of the organization.Provide leadership and training for team compliance with ESH procedures, regulatory protocols, and business conduct policiesAcquire and maintain facilities and equipment for effective and efficient functioning of all programsFinancial management including budget forecasting, cost management, capital planning and expenditureQualifications:Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree3+ years team leadership, supervisory and project management experienceStrong decision-making and problem solving skills with minimal supervisionFlexibility to respond quickly to changing job demands and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilitiesStrong computer skills related to data acquisition, organization, and data analysisExcellent communication skills and proven ability to help multiple stakeholders understand and advocate for modern agricultureDesired Skills/Experience: MS in Plant Breeding, Agronomy, Biology or related field of study with 3+ years of significant people and project management experience Knowledge of seed production practicesGood working knowledge of operation research, statistics, and data analytics Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
