Nursery Sales Representative?Established in 1910, Cavicchio Greenhouses, Incorporated, better known as Cavicchio?s, is one of New England?s most comprehensive wholesale horticultural growers and distributors, cultivating and sustaining more than 250 acres of annuals, perennials and nursery stock. Our horticultural business is complemented by a premium selection of loam, mulch, stone, and landscape supplies.?We are a multi-faceted and dedicated team of growers, horticultural experts, landscape and business professionals, customer service representatives and marketers who provide our customers with the best service, quality and selection in the industry.?We have a number of Sales Opportunities available for experienced sales people who can help us grow the business to the next level. We are expanding geographically, as well as opening up new opportunities with large retailers, landscapers and garden centers. ??Candidate has worked in a related field and is accustomed to helping customers select and sell material for projects, work with our existing customers and develop new customers. Experience in assisting landscape architects and contractors helpful.? Up sells materials that will ensure customer greater success with their projects (e.g., fertilizer, mulch).?Responsibilities:Prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunitiesBuilding new relationships with customers in person and on the phone.Expanding the network of customers and building new relationships.Reviewing garden designs and helping customers select material.Sourcing nursery items for the customer jobsite.Preparing bids and provide quotes on jobs of all sizes.Assisting walk-in customers.Experience, skills and behaviors required:Minimum of two years proven sales experienceKnowledge of shrubs and treesProven account management skillsCavicchio Greenhouses, Inc. offers competitive pay, a complete benefits package upon eligibility including insurance, paid time off, retirement savings and an opportunity to work with a great group of people.
