Nursing Supervisor- B Shift
SUMMARY:The principle objective of the Supervisor Nursing is to provide professional nursing care, support and supervision for the Occupational Health Services staff on an assigned work shift. This position is responsible for maintaining Occupational Health Nurse programs, policies and procedures, supervising and evaluating nursing care provided to workers on assigned work shift; monitoring nursing functions to ensure nursing staff adheres to correct nursing procedures within scope of practice; attending facility management meetings when directed to provide occupational health related updates; assisting with conducting annual nurse performance evaluations and assisting with the shift nurse interviewing process; assisting with managing workers' compensation cases and ensuring records and reporting systems comply with OSHA, State, company and legal requirements; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in facility safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with developing and coordinating health education programs for Team Members; and other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Completion of a registered nursing program, required. Bachelor's degree preferred; current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.Experience: 2+ years' experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
