Originally founded as a family company in 1975, Cactus Feeders is now 100% Employee Owned with its 800+ employees producing a million fed cattle and 700,000 market hogs annually with gross revenues of over $1 Billion dollars.  The Company has cattle feedlots throughout the Texas Panhandle and Southwest Kansas with hog operations in Iowa, South Carolina and Georgia.  Office Manager Cactus Feeders is hiring an Office Manager covering our Ulysses and Syracuse, KS locations.  A successful candidate for the position will be self-driven, be able to communicate effectively, and great time management skills. The Office Manager will handle month and year end ledgers, inventory, general ledgers, customer relations, and animal moves.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum 5 years of relevant prior experience; Public Accounting experience preferredExperience with enterprise accounting systems; Navision preferredStrong analytical, problem solving, management and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFeedyard accounting (A/P, A/R, Payroll, Cattle & Grain transactions)  Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all some staffing, training, development and supervisionWork closely with other Yard ManagersReport to Beef Division and Corporate Controller
