Office Manager

Position Purpose:The purpose of this position is to provide office management and administrative leadership for the Cargill Innovation Center (CIC) in Wichita.? This role provides administrative support and leadership in multiple areas of the Innovation Center including but not limited to budget and finance support, general administrative support, coordination of logistics and needs for customer and visitor meetings, and supporting the needs of the Innovation Center team for onboarding for new hires and interns.? The position also oversees the Reception/Administrative Staff.
Principal Accountabilities:
30% Accounting and Finance Support??Support budget planning and tracking needs for the Innovation Center??Support accounts payable and accounts receivable, and resolve issues through coordination with finance and accounting personnel, including support on submitting and working with capital commitments??Ensure accurate cost center billing allocations??Assist corporate finance with required reporting for R&D Tax Credit, City of Wichita, R&D Census Report, and R&D Innovation Survey??Support accounting needs and tracking for commercial products through the CIC30% General Administrative Support??Oversee maintenance of office supplies and support needs for leased office equipment??Submission of work orders for facility, and coordination of Intellectual Property walkthrough audits??Maintain data archives (electronic and paper, Shared Drives, Share Points, document destruction)??Support furniture, office technology needs, and other general tasks required by the CIC management team30% Customer and Visitor Logistics??Oversee and assist with conference room scheduling and meeting planning??Support and lead coordination of logistics for onsite and offsite meeting needs (meetings may range from small groups to large complex meetings and VIP events)??Confirm all meeting spaces are equipped with appropriate needs for meetings (technology, tools, refreshments, etc.)??Effective communication with customers and guests10% Talent Support??Support all onboarding needs for new employees as well as intern setup for CIC??Supervise Administrative Staff including performance management, training, and developmentSkills:
Required Qualifications:??High School Diploma.??5 years? experience in an administrative, finance/accounting, or business role.??Basic knowledge of accounting principles.??Proficient in MS Office Applications.??Effective written and communication skills, including strong grammar and math skills.??Advanced multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail. ??Demonstrated customer service skills.??Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and evaluate people.
Preferred Qualifications:??Bachelor?s Degree or Associates Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business.??Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, Kronos, Clarizen.??Prior supervisory experience.
