Grayville, ILSUMMARY:Works with the Controller and assists in areas such as Home Office personnel management, capital asset management, and inventory management. Provides software and computer support leadership and implements and maintains accounting computer systems.?ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:?Supervises Home Office administrative office personnel.Determines work procedures, and expedites workflow. Evaluates office production, revises procedures, or devises new forms to improve efficiency of work flow.Develops and directs administration and implementation of all accounting computer systems and technology, including but not limited to Agvance, Kwik Tag, OPW, and AME.Provides computer support leadership for all GROWMARK and other company software and serves as a liaison with GROWMARK and other software representatives.Assigns vehicle numbers to all vehicles and equipment for the company, maintains Vehicles spreadsheet on SharePoint, and adds new vehicles to CMI Fixed Assets to setup the proper depreciation schedules.Obtains all vehicle and equipment licenses for the company and assigns vehicles to the appropriate insurance policy in FSRIS. Processes license renewals and files IFTA returns and reports.Administers Energy Customer Tank Monitor setup online and distributes to locations. Serves as liaison with IMS for tank issues as needed.Assists with month end processing and printing of customer statements.Assists with inventory management and costing, and prepares monthly shrink analysis.Maintains all company assets in CMI Fixed Asset software and applies the depreciation rates that apply to capital assets.Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITESThis job has supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or business management with knowledge of sales and motor fuel taxes.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
